Tape Splicer
- Processes ~1.5 inch (38 mm) wide tape from 24 inch (610 mm) OD reels
- Removes defects from 2 inch to 50 feet long (51 mm to 15.2 m)
- Uses heat and pressure to bond 1.5 inch (38 mm) long splice
- Applies tape over splice region
- Logs and marks each splice
- Defect removed in < 30 seconds
